CSSEdit ♥ Leopard

I’m happy to announce that CSSEdit 2.6 is completely ready to rock with Leopard! Besides sporting a tight Leopard look (but still running great on Tiger of course), this update increases stability, fixes bugs and throws in some handy new features. If you had a niggle with version 2.5, odds are that the release notes will put a smile on your face.

Very cool! I had requested a couple of those features and really appreciate them. Thanks for all your hard work!

Love this program and am definitely pining for a MacRabbit IDE with the same style and ease of use. Just crossing my fingers and hoping at this point.

This app is the best I’ve seen for css editing, but I can’t use it for one tiny but crucial reason: You can’t change the window background. I need high contrast for editing text! I used to be a textmate+cssedit guy, but ended up giving up the cssedit because I couldnt make my background black. Please add this feature and I will instantly throw my money at you!

Congratulations! I used to experience some crashes while working on documents with a lot of images, and this new version seems to solve all my problems. Now, I can use it again without the fear of loosing my work

I also like the new features!
Keep up the good job, CSSEdit makes our lives easier!
Thanks from Wallonië

Just wondering if you’re going to update Deskshade to make it fully compatible with leopard? The semi transparent menubar is broken whenever Deskshade is in use. Thanks

I’d love to see css edit grow to become the new coda. It already has a better interface for css editing (the one in coda just sucks) and built in html support for css edit would just be fantastic. Or just a program with the same options as css edit but just for xhtml editting.

Used CSSEdit today to fix up my web site worked great with Leopard 10.5.1 and Safari 3.0.4. Thanks for fixing it to run on Leopard so quickly.

Fantastic program. Much more worth than its cost.
One big minus on my G5 (os x 1.4.10): I use v2.6 and it crashes every time after quitting it.
